Every time that Faith looked into Buffy’s wide and innocent eyes, she wanted to hit the blonde over and over again. There was something about Buffy’s eyes that caused Faith to see a reflection of herself in them. And it was a reflection that the brunette did not like. Instead of seeing the sexy and confident young woman in control of her life and future that she saw in regular mirrors, Faith saw a cold, hurt, weak and scared little girl who lashed out at others and the end only hurt herself. She hated it and it was why she would hit the blonde Slayer even harder when they fought one another. Perhaps if she hit Buffy hard enough, Faith would be able to close those eyes permanently so that she wouldn’t ever have to see that reflection again.
