            Faye silently chuckled as she watched Cassie drop the kittens in horror. It would seem as if the little white mouse had a lot to learn about being a witch, especially if she didn’t know about familiars. She briefly contemplated taking her under her wing and giving her a proper education, since she knew that Diana would only teach her the safe things about being a witch. But Faye dismissed the idea, she needed to use Cassie and she couldn’t waste time teaching her things that would give her power. She decided to let Cassie to think what she would about the kittens. Instead of telling her what the kittens really were, Faye decided to drop vague hints about them. The girl was so clueless at times that it would make it easier for Faye to manipulate her.
