            Alexx hadn’t become a doctor to solve crimes and to catch the bad guy. She had put herself through medical school because she was determined to give both herself and her children a better life and more chances. While she had been completing her degree, she had done some work in the Medical Examiner’s office. Once there she became focused on helping the victims who couldn’t speak for themselves. Unlike the other coroners, the victims that found their way to her table were more than just corpses she cut into to find the clues to their death. They were innocents who had had their lives brutally robbed from them. No one in her opinion deserved to be murdered, no matter what they had done in their life. She couldn’t save their lives but she could speak for them and to her that was as important as saving lives.
