Notes: Set during Season Four. Sara reflects on Grissom and her attraction to him.

She wasn’t the type to be distracted by daydreams of what could be and what she thought be. But sometimes after a long shift and a few beers in her system, Sara couldn’t help but daydream of him. Instead of looking confused and turning away from her when she offered herself to him, he would open his arms for her. And she would move into those arms and it would be like coming home. That one moment was as far as she ever got in her daydreams. It was just too painfully perfect for it to ever happen. So she’d order another beer and a shot of whiskey to erase the image from her mind and to ease the pain of her daydream.
