Okay I decided to spam my friends list once more with another post. My excuse is that at least this way I'll have less to post the next time I make a major post. Yeah that's it. Anyhow this one is for catvampcrazines , and I am working on the other fic request that you sent me. It finally came to me how to write Warren/Puppy!Angel. I will next time include that on my list of never challenge me with that again! Don't get me wrong, it's a fun pairing to write. But its hard to write. Anyhow... on to the fic. I hope you like it, I decided to work this pairing into ATS Season Five canon. Enjoy!

            Fred was at their café waiting patiently for him to arrive. She hadn’t expected to find romance since the lab kept her quite busy, but she had found it in the former of a fellow Southerner. They had first started talking because of their familiar accents and from there their conversation had exploded. When she had told him about she did for a living he was interested, and even better he was understanding when she told him that there was a lot of it she couldn’t discuss with him. He had told her about his job as a lawyer for a non-profit organization. And over countless cups of coffee, they had just clicked.
            When they had had their first kiss, it had been electrifying. She had felt like she was coming home at long last. And she knew that he had felt it too but they hadn’t been able to discuss it because they had both been busy with their respective work. She had had to deal with the urgent matter of making Spike corporeal and he had had an important case to deal with. She had been more than pleased when she heard his warm and sexy voice on the other end of her phone telling her that his case was over. He had asked her to meet him at their café when he had found out her work was done as well. She had rushed from the lab to her apartment finding something sexy and understated to wear for their impromptu meeting and had found herself at the café before he arrived.
“Fred there you are,” Lindsey’s voice broke into her thoughts.
”Yeah our normal table was taken,’ Fred said and smiled up at him in greeting.
“I have something to tell you.”
”What is it?”
”I want you to know that it’s not you, but it is me.”
”Are you dumping me before we’ve even had a real date?” Fred asked him, confused at hearing those words.
”Fred, this won’t work out in the end. I’m not a very nice guy.”
“But Lindsey…”
”No. You’re too good of a person for someone like me. And I am going to do the right thing for once in my life. Even if everything in me is yelling at me to stay.”
            Lindsey leaned over and gave a final kiss before he walked out of the café. Fred briefly entertained the thought of running after him and making him see the stupidity of his actions. But she quickly abandoned that train of thought; after all she wasn’t in some cheesy romance novel. Anyhow, she figured that he probably had a wife or a fiancée and had wanted to end things with her before they spiraled out of control. She sighed as she thought about how it seemed every time she was close to finding the one, he dumped her telling her that it wasn’t her.
