Okay, I've been lured into the Harry Potter fandom and fanfiction. This is my first attempt at writing HP fanfiction, if it sucks, well thats probably because it's my first time into the fandom. Anyhow, I have some other fics I need to work on so I'll start working on those. It's weird how I've been suddenly inspired to write after having nothing for over a week.

It was hard for him to not tell her the truth, but his life depended on his ability to keep his mouth shut. It wasn’t as if he really needed her approval but for some reason, it hurt him every time he saw her look of disgust when she looked at him. Of course, it didn’t help that she thought that he was a Death Eater, following in his father’s footsteps. What she didn’t know was, that he was following in his godfather’s footsteps. Even his own father didn’t know of his betrayal. And to protect himself and Snape from the evil that constantly surrounded them, he had to lie to her and watch as she looked at him as if she’d rather spend her time in detention with Snape than share the prefect’s common room with him. He sighed as he watched her shoot him another disgusted look at him, before she stormed out of the room, no doubt in search of Potter or Weasley. He couldn’t wait until the war was over, just so that he could show her that she had been wrong about him all this time. Then again, he didn’t really care about what she thought or at least that’s what he kept telling himself.
