Notes: Set during Season One.
Summary: Cordelia’s cruel because she can be.
The taunts that she throws at Willow makes everyone laugh in amusement, everyone but Cordelia and Willow. The red head always looks like she’s going to break into tears when Cordelia makes fun of her, and on the inside Cordelia feels like garbage. She makes fun of Willow because it’s expected of her, not because she wants to. Cordelia tries to tell herself that high school is supposed to be about the haves and the have nots and the haves are supposed to mock the have nots. But there’s a part of her that wants to go to Willow and apologize for the years of abuse and to try to be her friend. However Cordelia knows how Willow would respond and she’s not that brave. Instead she says something witty about Willow’s fashion sense, or lack of one, and walks away with an amused smirk on her face even though on the inside she hates herself for hurting Willow again.

Summary: She can’t sleep when she knows that the end is so close.
She can’t sleep when she knows that the end is so close. She had thought that her life would flash before her eyes when her time was close but it’s nothing like what she imagined. She hasn’t told anyone about what tomorrow will bring if she’s successful, instead she wants to revel in her friends’ happiness that she’s back. However she’s alone in Angel’s private suite cherishing the memories of the life that she created in LA. She misses Doyle and she wonders if she’ll see him again when her mission is accomplished tomorrow. It won’t make it any harder to say goodbye to Angel tomorrow but it will make it a bit easier. She smiles as she digs out the videotape of Doyle trying to sell Angel Investigations.
