Calleigh was always impeccably dressed when she was on the job. Her clothes were fashionable without being too flashy, like some of his other co-workers. She looked professional and good both in the lab and on a crime scene, and sometimes Ryan felt under-dressed in comparison. He had taken to trying to dress more professional since he had ended up paired with her both professionally and romantically, yet he still felt that he wasn’t trying hard enough.

Ryan’s mouth dropped as she floated into the room in a stunning strapless red dress. She was like a vision as she made her way over to him and all of his feelings of inadequacies disappeared as Calleigh stood in front of him and did a slight spin to show off her dress. He smiled at her as his hands circled her waist and he pulled her down onto his lap.

”How did I get so lucky?” Ryan asked.
”What do you mean?”
”You’re perfect.”
”Hardly,” Calleigh replied with a laugh.
”You are to me,” Ryan said as he nuzzled at her neck.
“We’re going to be late,” Calleigh said as she leaned further into him.
”Yeah but do you really have a problem with that?”
“No, not really,” Calleigh replied with a sigh.
“Good,” Ryan stated with a grin before he resumed kissing her.
