I don't think I write enough in this fandom. I guess you could say that LJ Smith was my first real major fandom besides Labyrinth, considering I used to make up stories after I finished reading her books. And this was before I ever heard of the term "fanfiction."
Title: Lonely
Author: Sweetness (aaronlisa@gmail.com)
Pairing: none
Rating: FR13
Disclaimer: The Night World belongs to LJ Smith and company.
Notes: Set prior to the start of Huntress.
Most of the time, Jez Redfern didn’t miss a thing about the life that she had turned her back on. She’d accepted her new life calmly because she had had to and she refused to look back at what she’d willingly given up. If she was stupid enough to look back at her old life, Jez knew that she would wind up dead as would all of the people that had helped her start over in her new life. That didn’t mean that sometimes, especially late at night, that she’d grieve for the sense of belonging that she’d once possessed. If anything, that sense of belonging was the one thing she missed. The fact that she was part human and part vampire made it so that she could never really belong to either world, she could only straddle the two worlds as best as she could. And it made her more of an outsider in both worlds than she could ever have believed possible.

Title: Shame
Author: Sweetness (aaronlisa@gmail.com)
Pairing: mention of Alexandra/Black John
Rating: FR13
Disclaimer: The Secret Circle belongs to LJ Smith and company.
Notes: Set post-series.
She had never been that strong, not like her mother or her daughter were strong. It was something that Alexandra Blake was ashamed of. She was even more ashamed of the gut wrenching grief that she felt ever since the final battle with Black John. Everyone naturally assumed that her grief was for her mother and she felt like a traitor every time Cassie would wrap her arms around and comfort her. If only her daughter knew that her mother was grieving for the loss of Black John. Alexandra could only hope that her daughter would never discover her shameful secret, she didn’t think that she could handle losing her daughter so soon after losing her mother and her lover.
Alexandra couldn’t even begin to explain why she still had feelings for the man who had tried to destroy the coven three times. All she knew was that when he had first arrived on Crowhaven Road, she had fallen in love with the mysterious John Blake. She had been willing to give up everything for him, when before she had been so aloof when it had come to the opposite sex. And even after he had been revealed, she had still loved him despite the danger that he had represented to her friends and her family. Alexandra had not cared that he had meant to rule the coven or to destroy it, all she could see was the man that she belonged to. Even now after he had killed her mother and had almost destroyed her daughter, she still grieved the one man that she had ever loved in her life.
