Part One – Touch
Buffy had done her best to avoid her current situation but she had been unsuccessful and unrealistic. It had taken both Giles and Willow to force the Slayer to have a shower, something that she had desperately wanted to avoid. She still refused to accept the fact that Faith had stolen her body and had gotten away with it. Now she was standing in the shower under the hot spray with her eyes tightly closed. Buffy didn’t want to see her new body with its lush curves. She wanted to touch it even less, but she was out of options. She quickly opened her eyes so that she could locate the washcloth and the bar of soap. Once she had those two items in her hands, Buffy closed her eyes again. The thought that Faith probably hadn’t been this squeamish when it came to Buffy’s body found it’s way in her head as she slowly ran the soapy washcloth along her new arms. No Faith had broken in her new body, Buffy’s body, by using Buffy’s boyfriend before she had escaped Sunnydale. Now as Buffy dragged the cloth against her chest, she couldn’t help but wonder if Faith had taken great delight in touching her new body. Two tears trailed down her cheeks as Buffy felt compelled to learn about her new body intimately. She touched herself in ways that she had done a thousand times over when she had stood in a shower following her patrols. But instead of pleasure, Buffy felt only shame as if she was violating Faith. She slid down the wall of the shower as she cried harder, even miles away from her, Faith still managed to find a way to ruin her. This was why she had fought so long to avoid the shower and the bathtub. Curiosity had gotten the better of her like she knew it would and she was ashamed of herself.
