Notes: Written for fanfic100  for prompt #20 (colourless). Set during the second half of BTVS Season Two.

 

            In the dark of night, especially on moonless nights, everything is devoid of colour. The vivid colour that is present during the light of the sun becomes washed out into shades of grey and black. At night, no one could tell them apart, they were no longer the good Slayer and the bad Slayer. They were just two pretty girls, one who was light and the other dark. Other than the distinguishing colour between them, no one could say that one was bad and the other good much less tell that they were both dangerous hunters. At night, they were equals for a few brief moments instead of being unequal enemies locked in a deadly battle. For those few brief moments, Faith could pretend that they were still on the same side of the battle and that they were still friends. However, the illusion was always brief as was those moments when they were completely colourless.
