Notes: Written for velvetwhip  who requested this pairing and suggested the colour purple. Set during BTVS Season Three, following the episode “Choices.”

 

            The sight of the faint purple marks ringing Willow’s pale neck made Angel both jealous and angry at the same time. He was angry because he felt personally responsible for the harm that she had come to at the hands of Faith. Although he knew that he and Buffy had both needed Willow in order to retrieve the box, Angel still wished that the they could have done things differently. At the same time that he felt anger, Angel also felt a certain level of jealousy. Faith had touched the redhead in an intimate way and she had left her mark on Willow, something that his demon longed to do. He would be glad when the bruises completely faded so that he wouldn’t feel such anger and jealousy for Buffy’s best friend.
