2 x CSI: Miami drabbles

I am going to try that again. Both of these were written for [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100 . The first one is focused on Horatio and the second one focuses on Ryan. My big CSI: Miami [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100  table can be found here. It's right under my big Faith table & it needs to be updated.

Title:  Countdown

Author: Sweetness (aaronlisa@gmail.com)
Pairing: none

Rating: FR13

Disclaimer: CSI: Miami belongs to Jerry Bruckheimer and company.

Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100  for prompt #6 (hours).

Horatio always found that every crime scene to be a race against the clock. Every hour that passed sine the crime had first occurred put them further away from the culprit. He knew that other supervisors thought that he was a hard taskmaster and that he was extremely arrogant. But he didn’t care what they thought; all that mattered was that his team worked hard to solve the cases with the evidence that they collected. His team didn’t seem to mind that he pushed them harder than the other supervisors. They all understood how much time was working against them.

Title: Forced Betrayal

Author: Sweetness (aaronlisa@gmail.com)
Pairing: none
Rating: FR13

Disclaimer: CSI: Miami belongs to Jerry Bruckheimer and company.
Notes: Written for [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100  for prompt #26 (teammates.) Spoilers for “Shattered” (ep#410.)

If the accusations against Eric had come a few weeks earlier, Ryan would have felt differently. He wouldn’t have hesitated when it came to sharing information about seeing the rolling papers in Eric’s kit during the interview with IAB. And it wouldn’t have felt like he was being forced to betray a teammate either. Ryan had grown tired of Eric’s sloppy workmanship and his inconsistent availability, which had put a strain on him since Ryan had been forced to pick up a lot of Eric’s work. But things had literally changed in a blink on an eye. Not only had Eric arrived on the scene in time to save both Ryan and his eyesight, but he had also ensured that Ryan was okay after he had been released from the hospital. Now he felt like IAB was forcing him to betray someone who was on the same team as he was. At the same time, Ryan was under oath, so he decided to be as vague as he possibly could be and hope that Horatio would be able to clean up this mess.
