starlit_desiresOkay this isn't a new fandom for me as I've been a fan of LJ Smith since my late teens. This is the first time I've tried writing in the fandom though.

The coven had changed subtly following the defeat of Black John. Although Cassie shared leadership with Faye and Diana, they all knew that the real power rested with Cassie. She was the only one who could wield the power of the Master Tools properly and her heritage had made her the strongest witch of the group. It was something that Faye bitterly resented and part of her still continued to wonder what things would have been like under the control of Black John. Faye knew that he would have wielded power but he had promised to make her equal to his daughter. And she couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to be that powerful; it had been something that she had longed for all of her life. And now with the defeat of the coven’s enemy, she felt like she had been robbed.
