I've found some more drabbles that I haven't posted yet... geesh. These ones were written not that long ago for open_on_sunday for "playing"
Buffy POV, post-season four BTVS
Buffy often thought about Faith after their turbulent year together. She would often lay awake at night wondering where she had gone wrong with the other Slayer. And then one night, shortly after Faith had returned to Sunnydale, Buffy finally understood. It wasn’t that she had failed the other girl, or that she had somehow messed up. It was more a case of when Faith had first arrived in Sunnydale; she’d been a new Slayer without a Watcher running for her life. And instead of taking it seriously, Faith had decided to play with her powers. And play she did.
Darla POV, ATS S.2
Darla might be a human now but that didn’t mean she wasn’t going to play her little games with Angel. If anything, she knew that she had to play them. She would use them to torment Angel into making her a vampire. It was the only way she would be able to survive. She didn’t trust Wolfram and Hart, she didn’t even trust Lindsey. Both the law firm and the lawyer had ulterior motives for keeping her alive, and if they thought that they could attack Angel through her, she knew that they were wrong. However, he was her salvation.
Willow POV, early season five of BTVS
If there was one thing that Willow loved most in the world, it was coming home after a long day of classes and helping the Slayer survive another day, and watching her girlfriend play with the little cat that they had rescued. Willow knew she could spend hours just watching Tara play with the little black and white kitten. It had actually been during one of those stolen moments that Willow had realized her feelings for the blonde witch. It was those stolen moments with Tara and the kitten that Willow felt safe and that she had found her home.
Spike POV, BTVS S. 2
Spike groaned as he heard the couple upstairs engaging in their blood play. He thought of all the things that he would like to do to them. None of the things that he wanted to do to Angelus and Drusilla were very nice, but he would have enjoyed teaching them the consequences for playing and not including him. He especially wanted to teach Drusilla that lesson more than Angelus. Spike hated Angelus more than he had ever thought possible. He knew that the vampire didn’t really want Dru and that he was just using her to teach Spike a lesson.
I really need to update my journal here more often & get my personal archive up and running soon.
