Okay this was an interesting challenge for me from velvetwhip and so far I am really enjoying it. I don't think it's going to become smutty or anything but I do like the idea of the three of them in the timeline of BTVS Season seven. So here's the first part.
Title: To Fix Broken Things 1/?
Author: Sweetness (aaronlisa@gmail.com)
Pairing: Willow/Spike/Xander (interaction)
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Joss Whedon and company own the Buffyverse and its characters.
Notes: Written for velvetwhip who wanted to see this pairing set shortly after Willow returned to Sunnydale from England at the beginning of BTVS Season Seven. For the sake of this story, The First isn’t driving Spike insane.
It was the first Scooby meeting with all of them there. Xander couldn’t remember the last time that they had all been together in the same room. He knew that it had to have been sometime before his and Anya’s disaster of a wedding. As he looked at all of them, he couldn’t believe how much they had all changed in such a short space of time. Dawn looked stronger and more confident, and Buffy looked more content with life. Anya refused to look at him in the eye, but she looked better since he had last seen her. However, he was worried whenever he looked at Spike and Willow. Ever since Willow had returned from England, and Spike had suddenly shown up again, the two of them had looked broken. And seeing them with the others, only made them look more broken. Willow was extremely pale in comparison to Buffy and Dawn, and she had dark circles under her eyes as if she barely slept anymore. And Spike seemed to have lost his arrogance and cockiness, instead he seemed detached from the others and lost in his own private world.
Seeing them with the others made Xander realize that he had to do something. He knew that if he didn’t do something, that no one else would help them. And he was afraid of one of them, if not both, just slipping away from him. He refused to lose either of them,
