Drabble: Freedom 1/1, PG-13

Ok I am trying this again since it keeps not working on me.

Anyhow this was written for [profile] drabble_redux

Title: Freedom
Author: Sweetness (aaronlisa@gmail.com)
Fandom: Labyrinth
Character(s)/Pairing: Sarah, implied Jareth/Sarah
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 100
Prompt: Prompt #5 - freedom
Disclaimer: Labyrinth and it’s characters belong to James Henson and company.
Summary: Set just after the end of the movie.

She was finally free of the Goblin King and she had never felt better. It wasn’t until after she had solved the labyrinth and returned home, that she realized that he had been stalking her like prey, waiting for her to say the words that would allow him to kidnap her brother. But now she was free of his desire and love. Perhaps she was a bit lonely but her freedom was worth it. Or at least she kept telling herself that over and over. And she believed it, until day turned into night and she felt empty without him.

I like this! It's been a LOOOOONG time since I have read anything in the Labyrinth fandom. But this was nice!

I am glad you like it. I'd have to say that Labyrinth was my first fandom.

One day I will eventually write a longer fic based on it.

Profiler was my first fandom, but Labyrinth followed shortly thereafter!

See I loved Labyrinth as a little girl and I used to make up stories about Jareth and Sarah when I was a little girl.

Well, I'm a lot older than you, so we won't discuss what I watched as a little girl (actually it was black and white movies...I've been a classic movie freak since age 5).

LOL =)

Actually I used to watch a lot of B&W movies when I was younger too. And I prefer a lot of the older movies than the newer ones. I also happen to be a big fan of fairy tales, not that I really tell most people that.

I've never met anyone else who knew those books! I loved them when I was growing up and would love to find a set of them. I adore fairy tales.

I have a copy of one of them in a box somewhere. I think you can probably find them in used bookstores. I can't remember how many there are...well over 10, if memory serves!
