I am not sure if this is what you wanted, but this is the only place that my mind would go with the challenge of: Giles/Angel/Willow in the library and not necessarily a threesome. I hope you like it.

“Good Lord,” Giles muttered as he pulled off his glasses and started to polish them furiously.
“It’s not what you think,” Angel said quietly.
“I’m not blind and I know that I saw you kissing Willow.”
”Yes, but it’s not what you think.”
”Angel, drop the act. You were kissing Willow, that’s what I saw and that’s what I think.”
“Oh,” Willow said quietly as she watched the two men glare at one another.
“Look, it’s not my business as to why the two of you were kissing. What is my business is how this will affect my Slayer,” Giles said sternly as he put his glasses back on and start to walk to the center of the library.
“Giles, you’re over-reacting,” Angel started to explain.
“Silence! I don’t care what the two of you were doing, much less why you were doing it. Do I make myself clear?”
“Yes,” Willow said quietly while Angel nodded.
“Good. As I was saying, my concern is my Slayer, not the two of you. I’m appalled that the two of you would behave in such a disgraceful manner. However, that is beside the point. I expect the two of you to be discreet, as I’m sure that the two of you know that if Buffy were to find out she would be devastated, which would affect her ability to do her duty.”
“Look Giles, there is nothing for Buffy to find out about, nor is there anything that would devastate her,” Angel said angrily.
“Look here, I don’t care what you have to say Angel, I’m warning you to watch you step. Now get out of here, both of you,” Giles growled in a way that was reminiscent of his Ripper days.
Angel and Willow slowly retreated from the library, largely because Angel wouldn’t let the redhead run out in embarrassment. Angel refused to let Giles think that either of them had anything to be ashamed of. It wasn’t as if they were carrying on some type of illicit affair behind Buffy’s back. An innocent kiss had been exchanged when Angel had found the shy hacker amidst the stacks, silently crying over Oz. He had talked to her and reassured her that Oz would forgive her. And then when they were finished talking, he had hugged her. When she had reached up to kiss him on the cheek, he had turned and her innocent kiss had landed on his lips. And Giles had walked in on them and assumed the worse.
