FICLET: A New Champion 1/1, PG-13

I've been reading the Five Seasons of Angel  and it's really making me think more about the show. Especially the whole fact that the way it ended really didn't leave a lot open logically. I mean if Angel has to destroy all of the Black Thorn, doesn't he have to destroy himself? Also would all of the Scoobies really abandon the Fang Gang when they were truly in need? Wouldn't something like a whole demon horde that the Senior Partners brought down on them be something that could be sensed, especially if all the demons of Sunnydale knew something bad was brewing when the First was in town? All of these questions in general are probably why I keep coming back to that episode.
