“This one’s alive,” Ryan called out as he quickly fashioned a makeshift bandage out of a handkerchief that Calleigh passed him.
“I’ll call for an ambulance,” Calleigh said.
He held the bandage firmly to the victim’s wound as he watched Calleigh place the call. She quickly came back and started whispering soothing words to the victim. Their eyes met over of the young woman’s body and he suddenly realized why Horatio always seemed to pair them up on assignments. They made a good team since they always seemed to have the uncanny knowledge of what the other was going to do before they did it. As the sound of the siren became louder, Calleigh gave him a relieved smile.
