Maybe her plans to control Angelus and then destroy Angel had failed, but Cordelia couldn’t help the rush of satisfaction that she felt as she watched the shock looks on their faces as she made her way down the stairs cradling her belly. Soon all of them would understand all of the sacrifices that she had made and they would bow down before the baby that she had created with Connor. But until they understood that she was pregnant with a goddess that would bring about peace on earth, she would have to protect her child by all means. So the games, the manipulations and the sacrifices would have to continue a little longer.
