            When they had gone to help Angel in his battle against Wolfram and Hart, they had burned a lot of their bridges and they had angered those in charge at the new Council. Despite what Buffy and Giles said about being different from the old Council, they still didn’t like people going against what they ordered. But when it had come down to it in the end, Faith and Willow had refused to accept the party line that Angel was bad because he had taken over Wolfram and Hart and they had both refused to not help the souled vampire who had helped them so much over the years. So they had gone to LA and then prepared themselves to face the music when they had returned to England to face the anger of Buffy and Giles. As Faith looked out at the azure coloured ocean, she couldn’t help but smirk at the punishment that they had been given. As punishment went being sent to a tropical paradise, even if it did have a Hellmouth that they had to patrol, wasn’t that hard. They didn’t have any back up and sometimes what this Hellmouth threw at them was worse than what the one in Sunnydale had thrown at Buffy and the others, but in the end all that mattered that they lived in paradise. Faith inhaled the salty scent of the ocean as she took one more glance at the azure coloured ocean before she turned back to the bungalow. The ocean might have been inviting but it was nowhere near as inviting as the beautiful redhead who was still sleeping. Faith decided that she would go wake her up, and she still couldn’t believe that this was their punishment for disobeying the orders of Buffy and Giles.
