            The thought of bringing down Horatio Caine was slowly consuming him. He knew that Caine had gotten his position unfairly when it had been proven repeatedly that Rick was the better man for the job. It was only a matter of time before Rick would be able to topple Caine and if he brought down the Caine’s precious team, well it would be icing on his cake. And when he had finally brought down Caine, Rick would be able to show everyone for once and for all that he was the better detective and man. Rick smirked at the thought as he watched Caine talking to one of loyal criminalist.
